This is basically my take on 80s electro pop - something I grew up with but actually only rarely enjoyed when it was happening.

Still, over the years time and again some 80s flavour had (unintentionally) crept into some of my own tracks (it seems some things are hard to escape even if you want to), and when in late 2006 a friend mentioned to me that he liked "Electro" and explained that it's "80s pop with (contemporary) dance beats" I decided to use some of them plus some new ones and produced this mini-album - which mainly pays tribute to my favorites 80s band Propaganda (and without conscious intention also to the other few I was fond of, like Yello, Eurythmics, etc.).

In fact, I had planned a series of EPs that each focused on a specific style of (danceable) electronica - especially for that friend I mentioned, who was a hobby DJ. Like many of my (many!) ideas, this one wasn't fully executed to the end, and this album, the "electro" EP plus "Marfology" (the "cuts'n'clicks" EP) were the only ones finished (although I used some of the tracks recorded for the remaining two later on other albums).
