When some months ago I posted a thread with links to tracks that I had contributed to different various artists compilations, ambient / EM musician and label owner Jack Hertz (who acutally had curated many of these compilations) suggested that I could collect these tracks on one album one day; I thought that was a nice idea and made a note. Now I felt the time was at hand to actually do it.

The main reason for this is the fact that I have decided not to submit any (new, original) tracks to any such project for the next few months, or maybe forever.

I enjoyed doing all these tracks, often the compilations had interesting, or important, topics, and through them, I felt connected to a world wide family of likeminded musicians.

Also, they encouraged me to explore some weird ideas further that are (perhaps) not present in my regular album releases with the same intensity. Which means that much of the music presented here is rather experimental, or introspective, or otherworldly, and sometimes humorous in a slightly weird way...

However, they also were time consuming and often put me under pressure, because it was hard to submit something until the often close dead lines and balance this with my other musical activities (not to speak of my daytime job and family life).

Therefore, a break. And a retrospective.

And also a kind of Christmas giveaway for my listeners: since all of these compilations were free releases, I'll also do it like this (...to be specific, it's "name your price" - please feel free to just type "0"; however if You want to throw a coin in my hat instead, this will also be much appreciated).

So, these are all contributions to various compilations I've made so far.
And also all collaborative tracks on several "(musician X) & friends" projects.
AND a few otherwise (hopefully) interesting single tracks from different contexts (radio shows, podcasts, YouTube videos, SoundCloud posts etc.).

All the stuff not yet on any album, but - you know: scattered all over! 8-)

Finally united. And it's a lot - actually the tracks would fill 11 CDs (please note that You can also pick just some single tracks if You prefer...).
