85. WRONG NOTES ON A FALSE PIANO (2007)

Something COMPLETELY different at the time (in the meanwhile though, I have already put out two further piano albums):

As a balance to my electronic escapades, I always had that habit to improvise on my wife's piano (originally a wonderful Yamaha baby grand, but we sadly had to sell it too many years ago, replacing it by a budget sample-based piano...).

Now, I'm clearly NOT a trained piano player at all, but still: when I have a good day, my tinkering can sound somewhat inspired.

So, when I did the big promo CD box - No Single Single - back in 2006 / 2007, I decided to include one album with piano improvisations, to represent this side of what I do as well.

Obviously as a joke, I gave the bigger part of the improvisations the title "The Olm Concert", as a loving pun on "The Köln Concert" by my admired Keith Jarrett (for some years I lived in a village called "Ober Olm" - hence the title...).

So, for those who might complain about my other music being "artificial" or "programmed" (which, to some degree, is correct...) here's a chance to listen to me "unplugged" (bum notes included).
