This thingy here is - PLEASE NOTE - *not* an "official" album; instead, it's more of a document I'd like to share with anyone interested, and due to it's file size (after all, some 49 minutes of music) Bandcamp seemed to be the most convenient way to do so.

What, then, is it…? Actually, it’s a lenthy piano improvisation I recorded while I was under an acute migrain attack - a painful state I used to suffer from much more often years ago, but it still occures every now and then today…

The strange thing is that when suffering from migraine, there are basically only two things I can bear for more than two or three minutes:
Lying on a bed in a darkened room with eyes closed or -
improvising on piano!

To be more specific, to play piano rather softly, slowly and sparsely, in slow motion and in an introspective way. And exactly that I did the other day, and just switched on the recorder while doing so (plus a few effects to give the piano notes a softly modulating, echoing, ambient reverb).

Now, the truth (!) is that I’m not actually much of a piano player - my skills on the instrument are very limited (and even more so when suffering from migraine) - so the outcome is obviously bound to be rather amateurish at best - and that’s why I only share it as a free download, I would not want to ask anyone’s money for this…

However, when listening to it the next day (with the headache gone) I still found many sections of the improvisation rather pleasant and soothing, so if You’re interested, feel free to grab this little present…
