Liner Notes:

Ambient and electronica artist Michael Brückner and singer / pianist Cilia di Ponte have collaborated many times through the past 25 years, but only a smart part of this has ever been released so far.
So it seemed that it's finally about time to do a full album collaboration together.

Most of the music on this album has been in the works since about 2008, when the two had been invited to contribute to a compilation project called "Druschba" ( Дружба - Druzhba in English transcription), which had the theme of friendship towards Russia. Of course, with everything that started in February of this year, this triggers mixed feelings today - but it still seemed a worthy idea 14 years ago. In the end though, the compilation never had been released...

The material recorded for that project now constitutes the core of this album and was completed with several other previously unreleased pieces recorded between 2002 and 2022 (the older material being properly remixed and remastered for the occasion).
