This release is my FREE Easter giveaway for 2021 - ENJOY! :-)

* * *

From time to time, kind sould who are also hosts of ambient or electronic music radio shows feel inspired to do a one, two or even three hour feature or "special" about my music - something I'm (of course!) always very happy about!

The second such feature which ever happened to me (and actually the most extended, I think) was the one presented here, in the summer of 2009, by Russian ambient artist, activist and radio host Tim Traum, one of the main protagonists of the Moscow-based ambient collective AmbiOne.

Tim also did an interview with me (which, as far as I could tell, is what his introduction / presentation is based on) and I was very openheartedly welcomed into the community (which, for all I can tell, unfortunately dissolved a few years later, and I lost contact with Tim...).

It was also originally in the context of AmbiOne that I created the first version of "Ombra" (which I still regard as one of my most important ambient efforts to date). The album was hosted on their website as a free download for quite some time (two or three years, I think).

Also this radio show used to be freely available for just as long, if I remember it correctly.

I couldn't ask Tim about it (obviously), but I suppose he'd be OK to share this recording for free once more.

Please note that the intro and outro and a few "jingles" during the show are NOT by me, but from some member of AmbiOne (who exactly is unknown to me, maybe by Tim himself...).

Obviously, this show is of special interest to people who speak (or at least understand) Russian, but Tim has a pleasant voice that blends quite well with the sound in the places he speaks (it's actually always music, when he speaks only a bit more in the background).
I actually quite enjoy it - especially the fact that he's pronouncing my name (almost) correctly (something that doesn't happen a lot outside of Germany ;-) ).
